Why Love? Our thoughts..,
This candle was created to embody the courage to give and receive love. Its essence is carefully built from three essential oils, each chosen in its most expressive form.
We start with Maritime Pine, a variety found along Europe’s sea coasts. Unlike the heavy “forest” pines, its scent is breezy and resinous, like fresh sea air. It clears space, helping you breathe deeply and open up.
At the heart is Geranium Bourbon, grown on the island of Réunion. Softer and sweeter than the greener Egyptian or Chinese types, it carries a round, rosy fragrance. Long prized in perfumery, this geranium harmonises emotions and creates balance, effectively the essence of love shared.
Finally, Ylang Ylang adds its rich, exotic floral depth. Distillers often separate ylang ylang into lighter or heavier fractions, but the “Complete” distillation holds the full spectrum of bright floral top notes, creamy middle tones, and a sensual base that lingers. It connects joy, intimacy, and presence.
Together, these oils form a fragrance arc: pine clears, geranium balances, ylang ylang deepens. The result is a candle that feels fresh yet grounding, tender yet vibrant.
We called it Love because that’s what the blend inspires.., space to open your heart, balance to share yourself, and warmth to let love remain.

- Our hand made wax essence refills should only be used in our Vessels. They should not be burned like Pillar candles. The natrual vegetable waxes we use have much lower melting points than the petroleum based waes used in pillar candles. Each of our candle refills has been designed, made and tested to work only inside its recommended Vessel(s).
Refill Instructions
- Open the refill packaging and hold by wick. Minimise touching the wax as it may soften and melt on your hands. There should be no cause for concern as the wax is a natural wax and the fragrance oil is essential oil.

We use a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax. Here are our reasons.

- Lower environmental impact than soy in some regions; soy often involves deforestation, whereas rapeseed is widely grown in the UK and Europe.
- Biodegradable: No petroleum / parafin / mineral based wax.
- Vegan friendly: Absolutely no animal products. Bees love us.
🔥 Burning Qualities
- Clean burn: Produces little to no soot compared to petroleum based waxes.
- Slower, longer burn time than paraffin or soy blends, so our customers get more hours per candle.
- Even burn: Less tunnelling, better melt pool formation.

- Excellent scent throw (hot and cold): Coconut wax especially is known for holding and releasing fragrance oils well.
- Stable blend: Rapeseed helps balance the softness of coconut wax, giving a reliable consistency.

- Rapeseed is a common UK crop, so you're tapping into a local, sustainable supply chain.
- Blending with coconut (yes we know coconut is imported) still gives you the fragrance and performance benefits, but with a UK grown soy component the end product has a lower carbon footprint.

You’re right, fragrance oils do have some advantages. They’re really consistent, there are loads more scents to choose from, and they can sometimes give off a stronger throw in candles.
But for us, essential oils just feel more special. They’re natural, plant-based, and bring that extra layer of authenticity and wellbeing that synthetics can’t match.
