Why Seville? Our thoughts..,
Inspired by the orange groves of southern Spain, this candle captures the sun-soaked essence of Seville in bloom. At its heart lies pure sweet orange essential oil, extracted from the rinds of ripe citrus fruits. Its fragrance is bright and zesty, with a natural sweetness that feels both comforting and energising, the scent equivalent of stepping into sunshine.
We called it Seville because the city is famed for its vibrant orange trees, their blossoms perfuming the streets and their fruit symbolising warmth and joy. Like its namesake, this candle brings a cheerful brightness to any room.
Placed in our Invigorating fragrance group, Seville is designed to lift your spirits, refresh your senses, and infuse your space with radiant positivity.
However Seville has its foot in several camps. The sweet orange also sits comfortably in our Summer season and our Reminiscent fragance groups.
Refill Candles
- All Natural Ingredients
- Sustainably Made
- One Tree Planted With Every Candle Refill
- Important Note. Please Read This.
- Our hand made candle refills should only be used in our Vessels. They should not be burned like Pillar candles. The natural vegetable waxes we use have much lower melting points than the petroleum based waxes used in pillar candles. Each of our candle refills has been designed, made and tested to work only inside its recommended Vessel(s).
Candle Refill Instructions
-
1: Once your old candle burned down and cooled, pop it in a freezer for an hour.
2: Remove the old wick base by pulling up between thumb and finger. The magnet will release the old wick and the residue wax will fall out of your Magwick™ jar. Make sure your jar is completely dry.
3: Open the packaging and hold your candle refill by its wick.
4: Put the wax candle refill into your jar, and push the wax refill firmly into place. Straighten the wick if required and use as normal.
5: Minimise touching the wax with your bare skin as it may soften and melt on your hands. If this happens there is no cause for concern as your candle refill only contains natural vegetable waxes and essential oils. We recommend washing with soap and water.
6: On your first burn let the candle burn for at least 2-3 hours so that there is an even melt pool across the top of the whole candle.
7: Use a "snuffer" to extinguish. Do not blow.

What type of wax do you use in your refill candles?
What type of wax do you use in your refill candles?
We use a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax for our refill candles. Here are our reasons.
🌱 Sustainability & Eco-credentials
- Renewable sources: Both coconut and rapeseed oils are plant-based, renewable crops.
- Lower environmental impact than soy in some regions; soy often involves deforestation, whereas rapeseed is widely grown in the UK and Europe.
- Biodegradable: No petroleum / parafin / mineral based wax.
- Vegan friendly: Absolutely no animal products are used in our candle refills. Bees love us.
🔥 Burning Qualities
- Clean burn: Our candle refills produce little to no soot compared to petroleum based waxes.
- Slower, longer burn time than paraffin or soy blends, so our customers get more hours per candle.
- Even burn: Our refill canldes have been made to ensure less tunnelling and a better melt pool formation.
👃 Fragrance Performance
- Excellent scent throw (hot and cold): Refill candles that contain coconut wax especially are known for holding and releasing fragrance oils well.
- Stable blend: Our refill candles contain rapeseed to help balance the softness of coconut wax, giving a reliable consistency.
🇬🇧 Local Benefits
- Rapeseed is a common UK crop, so you're tapping into a local, sustainable supply chain.
- Blending with coconut (yes we know coconut is imported) still gives you the fragrance and performance benefits, but with a UK grown soy component the candle refill end has a lower carbon footprint.
Why do you use essential oils and not fragrance oils in your refill candles?
Why do you use essential oils and not fragrance oils in your refill candles?
When it comes to our refill candles we choose to use essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance oils because they’re natural, plant-based, and kinder to both you and the environment.
Each one is carefully extracted from real botanicals, meaning you’re getting a scent that’s authentic and full of character.
Whether it’s calming lavender, uplifting citrus, or refreshing peppermint. Essential oils don’t rely on artificial chemicals or phthalates, so they offer a cleaner, more natural way to enjoy fragrance.
It’s our way of giving you products that feel like genuine, sustainable luxury rather than a synthetic imitation.

I’ve read fragrance oils can be better than essential oils. Is this true?
I’ve read fragrance oils can be better than essential oils. Is this true?
You’re right, fragrance oils do have some advantages. They’re really consistent, there are loads more scents to choose from, and they can sometimes give off a stronger throw in candles.
But for us, essential oils just feel more special. They’re natural, plant-based, and bring that extra layer of authenticity and wellbeing that synthetics can’t match.
We love that every oil has a story and a real connection to nature, and that’s what we want to share with you.
